Winchester Musica Viva will present their 36th annual holiday concerts, "Songs and Stories for a Festive Season" December 15, 16, and 17. Musica Viva will share fascinating and heart-warming music and stories from Jewish, Latino, and Ghanaian holiday traditions, as well as traditional Christmas music. The program includes toe-tapping music from Africa, Spanish carols, Hanukah songs, and familiar carols for the choir and audience. Community members will share personal stories from their own cultural celebrations and memories. Performances will take place Friday, Dec. 15, 7:30 pm, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Upperville, and Saturday, 8:00 pm, and Sunday, 4:00 pm, at Grace Lutheran Church, Winchester. Tickets are $15 for adults, and free for children and students. Join Winchester Musica Viva for an uplifting addition to your holiday celebrations!
